Law360: IT Workers Slam Delayed End To H-1B Spouse Work Rule

A group of U.S. information technology workers questioned whether the Trump administration will follow through on its promise to end an Obama-era program that allows H-1B visa holders’ spouses to work, urging the D.C. Circuit on Monday to keep the group’s lawsuit on track.

Save Jobs USA asked the D.C. Circuit not to postpone upcoming oral arguments in the group’s challenge of the government’s authority to give work permits to the H-1B holders' spouses, despite recent claims by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that a forthcoming regulation would make the entire suit moot.
