Law 360: Immigration Group Sues Ind. City Over ‘Welcoming’ Policy

Law360, New York (December 5, 2017, 4:34 PM EST) — The legal arm of an organization that calls for lower immigration levels on Tuesday filed a lawsuit challenging an ordinance in Gary, Indiana, that calls for the city to be welcoming to immigrants and for authorities not to cooperate with federal immigration-related requests unaccompanied by court orders.
